Edward Merrin founded the Merrin Gallery in the 1960s, dealing in pre-Columbian art. Later specializing also in the finest objects from worldwide ancient cultures – from the Old World of Europe and the Near East and Egypt, to the New World of Mesoamerica and South America. Edward retired from his position at the gallery in 1999, and has been keeping busy with social causes.
